Wrinkles of the forehead, frown and crow's feet are best treated with botox. Botox is a drug that prevents facial muscles from making wrinkles for a period of 3 - 4 months. The treatment is hardly painful and you are presentable shortly after the treatment. You could get botox during your lunch break, and when you come back no one will see that you have been treated. The effect of botox is usually noticeable after a few days and the end effect is visible after 2 weeks.

How does botox work for crow;s feet?
Botox ensures that the muscles in your face work less well. As a result, these muscles can cause wrinkles less well or not at all during a facial expression such as looking angry (frown lines), looking surprised (forehead lines) or when laughing (crow's feet around the eyes). In addition, botox ensures that any wrinkles in your face at rest also decrease a little bit. Deeper wrinkles will not disappear with 1 treatment.

How much Botox do I need?
The amount of botox needed in a certain area of ​​the face varies from person to person. This depends on factors such as age, depth of wrinkles and muscle strength. You may also want a more natural look with some movement or you can go for the frozen look where there is no more movement. Wrinkles that are in the face at rest will decrease slightly, but especially with deeper wrinkles, these will not disappear completely with one treatment. If after 2 weeks a little more botox is needed, you can always come by for a top-up for a small fee.

Is Botox treatment painful?
The botox treatment uses a very small needle, which means that the injections are generally not experienced as very painful. If you want to be assured of being completely pain-free during the treatment, we can always use an anesthetic cream.

When can I expect the results?
You will not see any results immediately after the treatment. After a few days you will start to notice that there is less movement in the treated area. After 1 week after the treatment you will see much more results and after 2 weeks you will see the final result.

How long will the results last?
How long your botox frown will last varies from person to person. The average period is 3 to 4 months. With repeated treatments in a row, you can expect a prolonged result.

Is there any swelling or bruising?
It is not common for swelling or bruising to occur with Botox treatment. Often, there are no visible signs that you have been treated immediately after treatment.
