Botox eyebrow lift

Here is what to expect during your eyebrow lift appointment at De Gezichtskliniek. 

 

Consultation:

The process begins with a consultation where your doctor assesses your facial structure, discusses your aesthetic goals, and determines whether a Botox eyebrow lift is the right treatment for you. They will ask about your medical history, any allergies, and previous Botox experiences. You’ll also be informed about the procedure, expected results, and any potential risks. This is a great time to ask questions and clarify your expectations.

 

Treatment:

On the day of the treatment, the provider will mark the areas where the Botox will be injected, typically in the forehead and the brow area. The procedure is quick, usually taking around 5 minutes. Using a fine needle, the provider injects small amounts of Botox into targeted muscles that cause the brows to droop. While the injections might cause mild discomfort, most patients find it very tolerable. The procedure doesn’t require anesthesia or recovery time.

 

Aftercare & Results:

After the treatment, you can resume most normal activities right away, though you may be advised to avoid strenuous exercise, sauna, sunexposure, or rubbing the treated areas for the first 24 hours. You may experience slight swelling or redness at the injection sites, but this typically resolves quickly. Results typically start to apear within 3-7 days and fully by 2 weeks. The effects last around 3-4 months, and repeat treatments are necessary to maintain the results.
